Delray & Boca: gardens, games & a night of music
Choose a Japanese garden afternoon, a pinball rivalry, live music, or a coastal nature walk.

Delray and Boca give you several very different dates. Spend an afternoon at Morikami, challenge each other downtown, or choose a concert that makes the drive worthwhile. Pick the activity you are excited about, then let the rest of the day follow.
Give Morikami an afternoon of its own
Explore the gardens and museum at a comfortable pace, with cafe lunch before its earlier closing time. Morikami is in west Delray; downtown is a separate trip, not the next stop on foot.
Choose pinball or a creative workshop
Silverball makes a downtown outing playful; Arts Warehouse gives it a hands-on focus. An arcade visit can stay flexible, while a workshop needs a confirmed place in a specific session.
Find your soundtrack at Arts Garage
Choose a performance and seating together, then give the music your attention. The venue permits outside food, but drinks are bought on site. Keep the conversation-heavy part before or after the show.
Spend a gentler morning in Boca
Gumbo Limbo offers aquariums, coastal nature, and a boardwalk. For a different pace, explore local history at the Schmidt museum in Historic Town Hall. Choose one or allow for the transfer between them.
Follow the seasonal calendar
Boca’s night markets and holiday celebrations give a familiar destination a fresh reason to visit. Check the dated listings below the guide library, work out parking, and leave room for an optional meal.
