The details that make it easy.
- Book first
- The Coastal Center and Elliott Museum require separate admission. Check current tickets and holiday closures. Coastal Center regular admission lists $20 per adult; special experiences may have separate terms.
- Budget for two
- Budget $40 for two standard adult Coastal Center admissions, plus the Elliott Museum’s current tickets, lunch and transport. No combined package or discount is assumed.
- Getting around
- These stops are close along NE Ocean Boulevard, but check pedestrian crossings and visitor parking at each property. Do not assume one attraction’s parking can be used all day for another stop.
- Weather & comfort
- The Coastal Center has substantial outdoor areas; heat, rain or lightning can affect access and programs. The beach is exposed. Bring water and sun protection, and shorten outdoor portions as needed.
- If plans change
- On a rainy day, make the Elliott Museum the main date and choose an indoor meal afterward. Do not count on outdoor animal programs continuing during poor weather.
