Pick your favorite corners of the Botanical Gardens
Visit the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens at 2410 SE Westmoreland Boulevard. Wander a few themed areas instead of trying to finish the whole property. Leave before that day’s closing time; the evening event does not extend regular garden access.

Slow down on the river boardwalk
Continue to The Port’s boardwalk for water views and a gentle walk. Choose a comfortable out-and-back stretch rather than committing to the full route, leaving time to reach the event lawn.

The details that make it easy.
- Book first
- River Nights lists free admission; confirm its weather status on the day. The garden is a separate visit with a suggested adult donation of $5. This route is not available as an evening concert on arbitrary Thursdays.
- Budget for two
- Allow for the garden’s suggested donation and whatever food and drinks you choose. The boardwalk and published River Nights admission are free; this is not a prepaid package.
- Getting around
- For the event, follow the city’s designated parking directions for Veterans Park at Rivergate, Tom Hooper Park or the listed USPS lot. Do not park in surrounding business plazas. Ask the Gardens about daytime visitor parking and whether moving your car is required.
- Weather & comfort
- All three stops involve outdoor space. Bring water, insect repellent and comfortable shoes. Check for lightning or event cancellation before travelling.
- If plans change
- If River Nights is canceled, reschedule this particular route; do not assume the lawn will have music or food vendors. A shorter garden-and-boardwalk date works only if those areas remain open and weather permits.
