A little safari, a whole day together
Turn an ordinary drive into a wildlife day at Lion Country Safari. Keep all three parts in one park so you have time to notice things instead of racing across the county.
Your time, together.
10:00 a.m.
Take the four-mile safari drive
Begin with the drive-through preserve in your own eligible vehicle. Let the passenger handle photos while the driver follows the posted route and animal-safety instructions. Allow at least 90 minutes, longer on busy days.

Pause for a proper lunch break
Park for The Gardens and choose lunch at Table67 or another open food location. A packed lunch in the permitted picnic area is another option; picnic tables are first come, first served.

Explore The Gardens
Spend the afternoon with the walk-through habitats and, if operating, the separately priced giraffe-feeding experience. Leave slack in the plan for shade, animal watching and a final ice cream.

The details that make it easy.
- Book first
- Check admission for your chosen date, current construction notices and available encounters before buying. Feeding and other extras are separate; never assume every attraction is open.
- Budget for two
- Use the official date-specific admission price for two, then add lunch and any encounters. The park is cashless; this is an individual plan, not a bundled package.
- Getting around
- A suitable vehicle is needed for the drive-through. Review the park’s vehicle and safety requirements before setting out; all three stops are inside the same attraction.
- Weather & comfort
- Ordinary rain does not necessarily close the safari, but lightning can suspend outdoor attractions. The park does not offer rainchecks. Bring sun protection and water.
- If plans change
- If storms are forecast, choose another day before purchasing. During an ordinary shower, follow staff directions and consider another permitted safari loop instead of exposed activities.
